My Story
For the past 19 years, I have had the honour of serving families as a certified birth and postpartum doula. Supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and those tender early weeks at home is not just my profession — it is work I feel deeply called to. I am a certified Birth Doula through DONA int., A Birth and Loss Doula through Still Birthday.com and I am currently working on both my Infant Sleep Consultant and Lactation Specialist through The DNT Network. Lots more to come!
I have always loved babies and have been told I carry a natural calm around them. From soothing a fussy newborn to intuitively reading a baby’s cues, caring for mothers and their little ones has always come naturally to me. That intuitive understanding, combined with nearly two decades of hands-on experience, allows me to support families with both confidence and compassion.
As a mother of three wonderful children — each with very different birth stories — I understand firsthand that no two journeys are the same. Birth can be empowering, unpredictable, beautiful, and stretching all at once. Because of my own experiences, I am especially passionate about helping families feel informed, supported, and confident in their decisions as they prepare to welcome their baby.
My goal is to provide steady, evidence-based guidance and practical support so you can receive the best care possible — not only during labour and delivery, but also as you navigate those first precious (and often overwhelming) weeks and months with your newborn.
You deserve to feel prepared.
You deserve to feel supported.
You deserve to feel at peace as you grow your family.
It would be my honour to walk alongside you in this season.
My Philosophy
I believe that education reduces fear and support builds confidence.
When families understand their options and feel truly heard, they are able to approach birth and early parenthood with strength and peace. My philosophy centers around equipping you with knowledge, advocating for respectful care, and creating a space where your voice matters.
In the early postpartum weeks, I believe mothers deserve just as much care as their newborns. Rest, reassurance, and practical guidance are not luxuries — they are essential. Supporting the whole family unit is at the heart of my work.
